The Head of High Ropes will be in charge of implementing a safe and engaging high ropes/climbing wall program for campers aged 6 to 16 in addition to acting as supervisor to 2 additional ropes instructors.

The high ropes course is used by both Ahmek and Wapomeo campers, although the site for this program is at Ahmek and the Head of High Ropes lives at Ahmek as well.

Compensation varies depending on the position and experience.  All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

-Emergency First Aid or Equivalent and CPR “B”
-Challenge Course Practitioner Level II or equivalent training and certification.
-At least one summer of experience working in a challenge ropes course adventure program with youth.
-Demonstrated competencies in challenge ropes course skills such as technical, facilitation, program planning, safety management and rescue.


Dates of employment: June 16 – August 23, 2019 inclusive.
